If this drop is successful then I will follow up with the player two controller. The design and manufacturing for Player Two is ready to go!
Drop Conditions
For a limited time you have the opportunity to preorder a transparent player one shell for yourself. This drop will successfully close when one of two conditions are met:
- All preorders are sold on or before January 15th, 2024.
- A minimum of 100 preorders are completed by January 15th, 2024.
If the minimum sales goal of 100 is not met by January 15th, 2024 then all preorders will be refunded and cancelled.
Shipping
You will cover the cost of shipping from California to your address. This drop is only available to the Contiguous United States. The base price of this replacement shell will cover the cost of shipping from the manufacturer to California. Shipping from the manufacturer typically takes 7-10 days.
Design & Manufacturing
Mix and match with the original! The design of this transparent shell is identical to the original HVC-001 Famicom controller one. This means plastic shells, plastic buttons, rubber button contacts, PCB, and screws are interchangeable between original HVC-001 burgundy controller and this transparent shell.
This transparent shell is 3D printed in high quality transparent resin, manufacturing is done in China and shipped to sunny California. Manufacturing is expected to take 2-3 weeks.
Assembly
It's time to get hands on, this transparent shell includes the following:
- Lower Transparent Enclosure
- Upper Transparent Enclosure
- Transparent A + B buttons
- Transparent Direction Pad
You will be responsible for the PCB, rubber button contacts, and screws. All of these items can be sourced from the original HVC-001 Famicom controller.
